Hurting Hearts

I drive on through the neighborhood after dropping my two children off at school. After we have just had the 50 minute roller coaster ride of getting 1 adult and 2 kids up, fed, dressed, teeth brushed, book bags, lunch bags, coats, snacks, toys for afterschool out and into the car.

Nine years and running and I am still sad to leave my children at school every day. It is yet

another day that I don't get to spend enough time with them. Still they ask me, "mom can you

leave work early today and pick us up, take us to the park?" My heart hurts just as deeply

as the first time the question was asked.

Help me find the answer. I can't make my heart stop hurting as I know that theirs does too.
